The Olympic Edition
Last year PNN.com, in collaboration with the Lights On Afterschool! organization gave away free music editing software to groups who shared their Lights On Afterschool experiences on PNN. At least a hundred schools used PNN to share their stories and keep in touch.
Now, while we're waiting for the next national Lights On event, we thought we'd find a great way for the kids to keep up an interest in writing and reporting with a new summertime contest.
It is getting very close to 08/08/08, the official opening date for ceremonies for the 2008 Olympics, and we want your Olympic Stories, memories, reflections, ideas, and anything that you think our readers would enjoy. Do you have a special story that you would like to share?
The summer time is a great time for reading and writing. If you have a special story, photo, video clip, or voice clip that you can share with us, we can put it to good use, and perhaps you could win our contest.
The entrants will be judges by well know journalists and sports figures and will get their stories submitted for national publication, be published on the front page of PNN, AND share in great prizes.
